Composite
materials veneering (ventilated facades)
The bond type
composite plates are suitable for veneering of buildings such as
offices, banks, airports, hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, head
offices, etc- because they can be easily shaped and combine perfectly
with glass and aluminum facades. The wide variety of profiles and
colors offers the engineers and architects unlimited freedom in
choosing shapes, colors and textures, but also endless possibilities
to customize the old or new buildings so that the customer’s needs
are fulfilled.

Specification
The
composite aluminum material consists of two aluminum sheets – 0.3
to 0.5 mm thick – with a polyethylene layer between them. The outer
side is treated with PVDF and can be painted in a wide range of
colors. A special foil protects it from scratches which can occur
during transportation. The other side is treated with a protective
solution. Usual thickness for this type of composite panels is 3-4
mm, but 6 or 8 mm thick panels can also be purchased.
Advantages
• Give the
building a modern and imposing appearance
• Are easily processed, the material
can be cut, bent and curved to obtain the desired shape and
dimensions
• Despite being lightweight (which
is the reason why they don’t put extra strain on the load bearing
structure of the building), the bond type composite plates are very
solid, do not bend and have a good wind load resistance
The high quality of the coating
provides the material with enhanced resistance against the elements:
acid rains, exhaust gases, UV light, corrosion
• The sandwich effect dampens
vibrations and prevents the diffusion of electromagnetic radiations
• Are easy to install in a
relatively short period of time and extremely low maintenance (since
they do not allow various impurities to infiltrate the material,
only a simple cleaning is needed)
• Fire resistance is in conformity
with current norms
• The visible side is coated through
a multilayered painting process, which guarantees high resistance in
time. Thus, the shape and physical properties remain unchanged in
time.
